You may take a preffered lie of up to 12" within your own fairway only.

Please, putt out.  The exception is when you have reached your maximum under equitable stroke control, it is appropriate to pick up, especially in a Point Quota Event.  If you are playing well and think you will be in the running for a divisional prize, then record your real score.  If not, then recored the adjusted score.
