Best Ball of Group

As with all tournaments this year, we will be having a Best Ball of the Group Net (twosomes and threesomes included).  This will be based upon net scores with each player getting 90% of their sloped handicap.

The prize is One Dozen Titleist NXT Tours Golf Balls to be shared by the group.

 

Posting Scores

Please post your score for Bretwood no later than Wednesday, June 18th.  Please post this as an away score with the proper index and slope.
If you pick-up on a hole, estimate the correct score taking a maximum of two putts on any hole.

Scores need to be adjusted before posting.  This has been taken from the USGA.

Equitable Stroke Control

9 or less Double Bogey
10 through 19 7
20 through 29 8
30 through 39 9
40 or more 10


Failure to post your scores within the alloted time frame can make you ineligible for future net events and will result in disqualification for any year end awards.

Preferred Lies

There will be preferred lies of 12 inches in your own fairway only (no closer to the hole).

Stableford Scoring System

Everyone will get strokes based on 100% of their updated sloped handicap for Bretwood.

You will earn points based upon your net score on each hole using this system.
Double Eagle = 5 points 
Eagle = 4 points
Birdie = 3 points
Par = 2 points
Bogey = 1 point
Double Bogey = 0 points  (Once you get to a bogey, you pick-up as you will get no points)

Their will be an award for the person with the most points.

Their will also be Division Prizes for those receiving the most points (the prize distribution will equal the same as using Divisional gross and net prizes.)
